The psychology of successful selling has to do with human psychology, and behavioral psychology in particular, and is the most significant of considerations in the development of your marketing message.

Psychology is literally study of the mind, but you must understand clearly that the mind and the brain are not the same.  The brain is an organ, but the mind is the human consciousness.  The brain functions, but it is the mind that thinks and reasons.

I believe the mind is a part of the immaterial soul of man.  As the brain controls bodily function, the mind controls thoughts.  There is a connection, however.  The brain is the physiological transmitter of data to the immaterial soul.

In this lesson: The Psychology of Successful Selling, I identify and explain these logical steps:

  • it begins with what they hear and / or see 
  • what a person hears and sees makes them think
  • what they think leads to their beliefs
  • how they believe changes how they feel
  • how they feel makes them want to do something
  • and this desire to do will lead to the appropriate action based upon the dictation of their own mental processes.
